Yael Mata Musy

Yael Mata is a Lead Fleet Engineer in the Performance and Reliability Engineering team at EDF power solutions, specializing in wind turbine blade integrity, reliability, and lifecycle management. With over nine years of experience in the wind industry, he leads blade failure investigations and root cause analyses across EDF's U.S. and Canadian fleet, translating field findings into engineering solutions that improve asset reliability and performance.

Prior to joining EDF, Yael spent six years at TPI Composites, progressing from Quality Engineer to Senior Field Service Engineer. His experience spans blade manufacturing quality, nonconformance analysis, field inspections, damage assessments, technical repair guidance, and defect disposition across multiple OEM platforms.

Yael holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
