Lili Haus

Senior Wind Research Engineer, EPRI

Lili Haus is a Senior Wind Research Engineer in the Wind Generation Program at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Her research focuses primarily on major system reliability and applications of data analytics in wind energy to support the advancement of wind turbine reliability and performance. She has a particular love for all things wind turbine blades and has done extensive research in blade damage trends, failure rates, and inspection practices. Prior to joining EPRI in 2020, Lili conducted research in dynamic modeling of renewable energy systems (wind turbines and wave energy converters) at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Lili holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UTD. Her education and research focused on finite element modeling, reliability-based design, fatigue analysis, and model validation.
