Ken Lee is a wind industry leader and aerospace engineer with over 15 years of experience specializing in the full product lifecycle of wind turbine rotor blades. As the Associate Director of Fleet Engineering at EDF power solutions North America, Ken leads a multi-disciplinary team in delivering technical solutions that maximize reliability and production across an expansive wind fleet. He is also a recognized U.S. technical expert for IEC TC88, contributing to the development of international wind standards.


A specialist in composite materials and blade engineering, Ken’s expertise is anchored in deep technical roots across design, prototyping, manufacturing, and in-house blade product development. Throughout his career, he has successfully driven the transition from theoretical design to field-ready technology. His extensive leadership background includes serving as Chief Operations Officer for WindCom, where he oversaw field services with a focus on both operations and engineering, as well as senior engineering roles at Envision Energy and Wetzel Engineering.


Ken holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Kansas. With a specialized foundation in aeroelastic loads and structural health, he is a sought-after advisor on long-term blade maintenance strategies and the implementation of data-driven asset management solutions.
