Emily Palmer

Emily Palmer is a Senior Turbine Engineer at Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) where her responsibilities include providing engineering support to maximize turbine reliability and managing the fleetwide turbine performance program. She has worked in the energy industry for over 15 years including roles with multiple wind turbine OEMs. Her experience is varied and includes new product development, system analysis, component level FEA, project management, and field work. A Texas native, she has held roles in multiple cities in the US and UK and is now based in Chicago. She received her BS and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and the University of Southampton.
