Christopher Szlatenyi

Lead Engineer, Arctura

Christopher Szlatenyi is Arctura’s Lead Engineer. He has 13 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design. Since graduating from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2010, Chris has led the development and testing of low-temperature atmospheric plasma systems for a variety of applications. He also served as Principal Investigator of the DOE SBIR project that led to the development of the ArcGuide® coating for enhanced lightning protection of wind turbine blades. Chris has made significant contributions to the advancement of the company’s technologies, reducing technical risk in preparation for commercialization.
